If you’re looking for a great photographer for your wedding, then first make sure you know what to look for. There are a lot of people out there that would seem to be a great choice from their personal ad. But beware, these are not always accurate depictions. A photographer can either make your wedding more enjoyable and be someone that helps everyone get into the spirit of the day or they can be someone who spoils the wedding. There are tons of different photographers in Atlanta, both good and bad. The best thing to do before making a final decision is to do a little research.
One of the best things to do before hiring a photographer is to talk to some of their clients. Were they happy with their photographers services? How did their pictures turn out and were they happy with them? Ask those of your friends and family who have used different photographers in Atlanta and find out which ones they thought were good, bad, or in between. Try looking at peoples photo albums. Is that one that you would want yours to look like? Did the photographer capture the day like the couple wanted to remember it?
whether you want a photographer that uses film or digital photography is up to you. Both can be very good but again, just depend on the photographer. If you are hiring a photographer that uses a digital camera, make sure to ask him/her for a sample of their work and also different sizes of the same picture. This will give you an idea of what your pictures will turn out like and whether or not the picture can be made larger with the same quality as the original. Also, make sure that the photographers camera is of high quality and at least 8 Mega pixels.
Ask what type of equipment they use, camera, lighting, everything. You want to make sure that the company you are using uses the best stuff, after all you are paying them a lot for their services. Make sure that your photographer uses professional quality film. Your pictures should look professional and they need good quality film to do it. Try bargaining for the price of your wedding package. Sometimes you can find a photographer in Atlanta that will be willing to lower their price without taking anything out of the deal. Make sure you are completely comfortable with the photographer you choose and make sure you have researched them before the wedding and everything will turn out great.
