If you’re looking for a great photographer for your wedding, then first make sure you know what to look for. There are a lot of people out there that would seem to be a great choice from their personal ad. But beware, these are not always accurate depictions. A photographer can either make your wedding more enjoyable and be someone that helps everyone get into the spirit of the day or they can be someone who spoils the wedding. There are tons of different photographers in Atlanta, both good and bad. The best thing to do before making a final decision is to do a little research.
I have already looked at the Art Institute of Atlanta but the tuition is OUTRAGEOUS! I need an alternative school around that area. I am willing to move a little or drive. HELP
Yeah, I know what you mean. You can try SCAD [Savannah College of Art and Design] in midtown (Atlanta). I’m not sure what their tuition is, but it’s another art school within the city of Atlanta. You can also try Emory University, though it is not a college of art, they do have a pretty good program for the arts and they do offer classes in photography.
I am planning on opening my own photography studio for portraits, proms, weddings, etc. I need a cute catchy name for the studio. Any ideas? By the way I will be the only photographer and it is around Atlanta.
If Devan E is your real name then how about "Devan E’s Studio"?
or "Devan Divine Studio"

I’d like to get a photography internship somewhere in Atlanta/Metro Atlanta area. I know interns are unpaid, and I’d be more than willing to do unpaid work. I’d just like to have an internship. Anyone know where I should look at or a place that is offering an internship?
Talk to the department head of the art department (or what ever department is over the photo program at your college or university) and see what you need to do to qualify as an intern.
Your instructor should be able to help your as well.
I’m doing a photography project that’s supposed to be partly based in ghetto areas, but I’m not really from Atlanta so I don’t know where anything is.
Could you offer names of some ghetto areas for me? Preferably in the North or Northeast area (Decatur would be great).
Thanks!
This may not be specifically in the northern area, but drive along Northside drive, west on Martin Luther King Dr, Bankhead highway now known as Donald Hollowell
Hope this Helps!
If you follow the city streets they will lead you towards Atlanta’s forgotten areas.

Few images speak as clearly of a time and a place as a dramatic black-and-white photograph of an American steam locomotive powering through that storied era of railroad history. All the new photographs in this beautiful book meticulously recreate that original style, capturing the bygone age of steam rail against the settings of its heyday, including period architecture and other details. The result is the crisp, stunning quality of contemporary photography – reproduced in highest-quality duotone prints – of the iconic locomotives of yesteryear. Featured trains include the Milwaukee Road; the Cumbres and Toltec snowplow runs; the Cotton Belt 819 in Arkansas, Missouri, and Illinois; the Savannah and Atlanta No. 750; the Frisco 1522 in Missouri; the Norfolk and Western 611 and 1218 in Georgia and Tennessee; the Union Pacific 3985 in Wyoming, Nebraska and Arkansas–these are just some of the historic runs and routes Steam Trains brings this era to life with its evocative photographs and accompanying narrative ac
